MOTHERHOOD AND LIFESTYLE
Back then, I was a woman chasing her career
- working long hours, climbing the ladder, and dreaming of luxury - designer handbags, shoes, expensive restaurants, first-class flights. If you’d told me five years ago that this is where I’d end up, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you.
And now? I’m a proud, slightly chaotic, deeply in-love mum of two boys - dreaming about building a farm in Australia, raising chickens, growing veggies, and giving my kids the kind of wild, free, low-tox childhood I never even knew I wanted.

I started this journey after getting sick - slowly learning how everyday products, food, and habits were affecting my health and my family’s. I began paying attention to the things we used, the food we ate, and what we put on our skin - and I realised how many hidden toxins were surrounding us every single day.
At first, it was overwhelming. There’s so much information online - and a lot of it contradicts itself. Some brands scream “eco” and “non-toxic” on the label, but when you flip it over? The ingredients list is full of petroleum-derived chemicals. That’s not low-tox. That’s just clever marketing.
I didn’t know what to trust anymore. What ingredients are actually safe in skincare? What pan coatings are okay? What kind of plastic is really bad?
So I did what any slightly-obsessed, trying-to-heal mum would do - I started doing my own research. No, I’m not a scientist. But I’ve learned to use critical thinking, ask questions, dig deeper, and trust my gut.
This space is for you if you’ve ever felt the same frustration. If you want real, organised, honest information - all in one place. Here, I share what I’ve learned: science-backed info, practical swaps, and gentle changes that make our home feel a little safer and more supportive each day.
It won’t be perfect, but it will be real. And you absolutely don’t need to throw out your entire kitchen overnight. We still go out for pizza. We still eat popcorn at the cinema. But at home, we’re making better choices - step by step.
